14,5 km Away From Our Dreams

Arthur, his two friends, a retired teacher and a taxi driver, all live in the Armenian-Turkish border village a mere 14.5 km from Mount Ararat, which currently belongs to Turkey. The boys share a common dream to climb the mountain. They all remain caught up in the anticipation of the decades-long closed border’s potential opening.

The discovery of 35 letters to a modelling agency in a folder "Do not reply" sparks a journey across Poland to find the authors – now middle-aged women. They confront their teen-aged dreams just as their own daughters enter adulthood. 35 girls wrote into the future; three decades later the film responds.
